Dr. Watts
Dr. Christian Watts has discovered a way to blend his expertise in medicine and music, birthing forth life-changing services for his patient’s and students. His journey into medicine began at the age of 13, when he helped care for his grandmother and managed her medications. This early experience sparked his lifelong commitment to healthcare, leading him to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. Today, he serves as a pharmacist for a significant global healthcare organization, governing an FDA-regulated drug program for over 150,000 patients. He is part of a team of elite pharmacists who serve as the core providers of pharmacovigilance and in-depth counseling for vulnerable patients who rely heavily on controlled substances. His exceptional ability to simplify complex medication regimens has made him a trusted resource for patients seeking clarity and guidance.
Parallel to his medical career, Dr. Watts’ musical talent has been a lifelong pursuit. Discovered at the age of 9, his vocal ability blossomed as he began leading praise and worship at the age of 13. His natural leadership, combined with his musical gifts, earned him the trust of churches in multiple states, where he has led worship and ministered to congregations. Furthermore, he received vocal coaching from Christina Bell, who played Twinkie Clark in the Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel. Whether singing at his home church on Sunday mornings or providing background vocals for renowned artists like Tye Tribbett and Jekalyn Carr, Dr. Watts remains dedicated to his craft. As a result of these core experiences, Dr. Watts is now a trusted vocal coach for many aspiring singers, further solidifying his impact in both the healthcare and music worlds.
