Working with Dr. Christian Watts has been a very great experience! He is an amazing vocal coach as well as singer. Despite my discomfort with singing in front of a large crowd, I was able to receive support, strategy, and encouragement, to help me overcome these moments. I am now more comfortable singing in front of mass settings. His patience and passion have shown through the years of him working with me. His expertise and knowledge in music has been an inspiration to continue following my passion in singing!

Christian is an extraordinarily talented and gifted musician. His contributions as the Minister of Music for 5 years at Wayman AME Church in St. Louis Missouri were enormous. Christian cultivated an artistry of vocal harmonies that uplifted and encouraged parishioners, visitors and leadership. He was and is continually sought after for his musical acumen and creativity. I believe the best characteristic’s of a leader should be humility and the willingness to give people grace. Christian possesses all of those distinctive traits. When I was hospitalized, Dr. Watts never missed a beat checking up on me, speaking 1st hand to my medical team, and ensuring that I had medication suitable for my age, race, and gender. I went through a severe ordeal in my body, in which I had a stroke, a stomach infection that lasted nearly 6 weeks, and a devastating diagnosis of a life-threatening auto-immune disease. My medication plans were extremely aggressive, and Dr. Watts analyzed each element and provided the breakdown of any potential side effects to watch out for. Dr. Watts read and interpreted my medical reports so that I didn’t have to boggle my mind. As a result of his consult, I am in a more heightened state of awareness concerning my health. I am forever grateful to Dr. Watts and all he has done to impact my life positively.

Christian is the person to help you achieve your singing goals. We delved into how the anatomy of the voice box influences singing, discussed a suitable diet to improve singing, and established goals for my vocal journey.

Throughout the classes, Christian meticulously tracked my progress in mastering vocal warm-ups and techniques. He took detailed notes on my voice, identifying the keys and ranges that best complemented my vocals. By the end of the sessions, I felt more self- assured and well-prepared in my singing abilities. I can always refer back to the notes from Christian's class to enhance my overall singing performance.
